Mental Health Virtual Conference 2021

Hats On has been a champion for mental health awareness and addiction for many years. Through our annual Hatsquerade Gala, we have managed to raise over a million dollars for mental health and addiction awareness. But we cannot stop there. Our vision at Hats On For Awareness is to become a pillar in the community, supporting mental health and addiction awareness in the Greater Toronto Area. We are so excited to share that we have decided to take a significant step towards this vision in the way of our first Mental Health Conference.

  • This will be a virtual Mental Health Conference.

  • We will be hosting approximately 6 Speakers.
  • This is not an academic conference, but a safe space for people to come and receive tools and resources to support them in their own mental health/addiction struggles.

All are welcome; however, this is primarily designed for families and individuals.
Conference will be catering to those that have some experience dealing with mental health and/or
addiction issues or simply want to learn more.
Goal is to reach approximately 1,000 people.

We will be using the platform, Zoom Webinar.

This conference will be held on Thursday November 18, 2021

Host Your Own Event

If you share our vision of mental wellness for all and want to help, consider hosting your own fundraising event and donating the money you raise to Hats On For Awareness.

Here are some ideas:

  • do a 50/50 draw at your office
  • host a bake sale
  • hold a car wash
  • organize a street or neighbourhood garage sale

Donating the funds you raise to Hats On For Awareness will help to fund mental health initiatives across the GTA.
